The horn fires the instant you tap. While it's still sounding, you pick who scored. Their name is called over the PA and the goal song rolls. One more tap credits the assist.

The call

Calls rotate through five wordings and use your team's nickname. Every player gets the same moment, from the top line to the fourth.

The whole game, in order.
The screen follows the game. Each part of the night shows only the buttons you need right then, so you're never hunting for the right one while the puck is live.
Lineup to puck drop
Read the starting lineup, play a hype song, then Puck drop fades the music and starts period 1.
Four buttons
Goal, Opponent, Penalty, Faceoff. They sit where your thumb rests, with Fade & Stop right below.
They scored
The goal is counted and the music fades. Nothing plays. Good sportsmanship is built in.
Win or handshake
A win gets a victory song. A loss or tie gets a mellow one for the handshake line.
Before the season
Set up once, at home.
A team manager adds the roster and every player gets a voiced announcement. At the rink, you open the app and press start.

- Add players one at a time or in bulk. Mark who's in tonight. Tap play to hear any player's call.
- Announced as
- "Thunder Birds A2" can be called "T-Birds" on the PA, with a pronunciation hint so it sounds right.
- Goal horn
- Eight horns, from classic arena to ship horn. Hear them all, pick one.
- Music
- Connect Apple Music and pick at least three genres. Songs are chosen for each moment of the game.
- Age groups
- Pick birth years or a division like U13. Youth teams lock the explicit filter on.
Built for cold rinks and bad Wi-Fi
Rink-proof.
Works offline
The horn and every player announcement are saved to the phone. A dead zone in the stands won't kill your goal call.
Clean only
Youth teams only ever get clean edits. The filter is locked on for kids' divisions.
Do Not Disturb check
A reminder before puck drop, so a text from grandma doesn't come through the arena speakers.
Blowout mode
Up by four? The horn and call-outs switch off by themselves. One tap brings them back.
Test run
Practise in the parking lot, then reset to 0-0. Test runs stay out of your game history.
Undo anything
Tapped Goal by mistake? Undo sits right under the score for both teams.

Music turns a Tuesday night game into something kids remember. Hearing your name called after a goal is a big deal at nine years old. Sideline DJ makes that happen every game, for every player, without asking a volunteer to become a DJ.

What is Sideline DJ?
Sideline DJ is a one-tap soundboard for the parent or volunteer running music at a youth sports game. It plays the goal horn, calls out the player who scored with a voiced announcement, and plays the right song for each moment of the game: warm-up, puck drop, goals, penalties, faceoffs, breaks and the final buzzer.
What happens when my team scores?
Tap Goal. The horn fires right away and a picker opens so you can tap the player who scored. Their voiced goal call plays, the score updates, and the goal song starts. One more tap credits the assist. If nobody is sure who scored, skip straight to the song.
Is the music clean?
Yes. Youth teams only get clean edits, and the explicit filter is locked on for youth divisions. It can't be switched off.
What if the rink Wi-Fi is bad?
The goal horn and every player announcement are saved on your phone, so they play without a connection. Streaming songs need a data connection.
